Supply Chain Management Overview
The SCM / Procurement Section strives to uphold the principals set out in section 217 of the Constitution of South Africa, No. 108 of 1996, when acquisitioning contracts for goods and/or services in accordance with a system which is fair, equitable, transparent, competitive and cost-effective. To achieve this goal the municipality depends highly on its suppliers in who lays a great responsibility to serve the people of the whole of the Cape Winelands District.
Our functions entail the following:
1. Logistics management
2. Disposal management
3. Risk management
4. Performance management
