Investing in our Youth

On March 16th, 15 young adults of Touwsrivier received their certificates after successfully completing a culinary course, an initiative by the Cape Winelands District Municipality (CWDM) to upskill and uplift the youth of the district.

The intimate gathering was not merely a certificate handover, at it was followed by a lunch prepared by the participants themselves.  After an intense 8-week programme conducted by G&D Training, the successful participants could finally share their new knowledge and skills with their loved ones and the special dignitaries present. 

The CWDM pride themselves in their investments in the youth of the Cape Winelands, an investment in our youth is an investment in the economic future of our district.
