During the month of April CWDM and representatives from the Local Tourism Associations (LTAs) displayed what the district had to offer at the World Travel Market Africa, which was held in Cape Town as well as at the Namibia Tourism Expo in Windhoek.
For the World Travel Market Africa, we co-exhibited with Wesgro – As the official tourism, trade and investment promotion agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape, Wesgro assists investors and businesses looking to branch out into the province.
The Cape Winelands stand reaped in rewards at the Namibian Tourism Expo including the What’s Cooking Award and Gold Award.
These expos bring together thousands of industry professionals, high profile buyers and protentional visitors and offers the opportunity for attendees to meet new and existing contacts, gain industry insight, keep up to date with the latest travel trends and most importantly garner visitors to the region.
