Corporate Services

Mrs Ingrid Barnard was appointed as Executive Director: Corporate Services on 1 May 2025. She holds a BTech in Human Resources from Peninsula Technikon (now known as the Cape Peninsula University of Technology).

Mrs Barnard has over 21 years of experience in the local government sector, having served in various roles at municipalities including Matzikama and Witzenberg Municipality.

As Executive Director: Corporate Services, she is administratively responsible for the following units:

• Human Resources
• Support Services
• Intergovernmental Relations (IGR), Integrated Development Planning (IDP), and Organisational Performance
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
