IC4 For a complete tie rod

For a complete tie rod solution you will need two of any style of our brackets to match the tie rod assembly you create here

A heavy-duty angle bracket in 1/4" steel with each leg 4 inches wide by 6 inches long

3/16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates

and bolt down the column base

Our steel column bases are made from 3/16" A36 plate and are used to hold columns to concrete slabs

IC4 For a complete tie rodThe IC4 is useful for connecting timbers end to end or as straps that overlap timbers on any face. Sometimes referred to as a mending strap or mending plate. 3 16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates. 1 4" is better for applications that need structural support.
